Daniel who has recently returned from a road trip around Northern England, has been busy visiting and photographing individuals at work in numerous factories including Walls, Youngs, Velvet and Bartoline. As time has gone on, most of the workforce in manufacturing has been replaced by machines, yet in some instances there exists one or two people whose job it is to supervise output, check quality control and add the finishing (human) touches.
Daniel Stier recently shot some charismatic and interesting bodybuilders for the latest ad campaign for Tango and ad agency BBH. All those involved were great sports and made a hard days shoot a lot of fun. The ads will be released around the UK very soon. Be sure to keep your muscles ripped and eyes peeled. AAAAAAARGH!!!!!!
Paul Stuart has recently started shooting a TA Project featuring reservists around the UK. In the last decade the TA has deployed around 26,000 reservists, including 22,000 in Iraq and Afghanistan. Abby Plant, 23, one of those featured, works as a finance administrator in Wolverhampton. On weekends, she is Gunner Plant of the 106 (Yeomanry) Regiment Royal Artillery. Already, Abby is thinking ahead to the next step. “At some point, I would like to do a tour,” she says. “My mum will worry, but it will make sense of all the training.”
Daniel has just shot Harvey Nics’ latest Sale Ads for the fantastic folks over at adam&eveDDB. The shoot took place in a Shoreditch studio, and involved among other things, professional live chickens, some sharp tailor made chicken outfits, and a qualified animal handler with super hypnotic powers. No chickens were harmed…
