ELISE / BEHIND THE SCENES

We’re often asked to explain what goes into Elise’s complex, beautiful images, but describing this in words is no mean feat. Elise’s photographs are unique in that she does everything herself: making, drawing, building, shooting and retouching. Her studio is an extension of the playful visual world she represents in her pictures, full of her handmade crazy objects, paint tins, polystyrene and lighting stands.
