Oli Hillyer-Riley It's Never Too Late
Oli Hillyer-Riley’s new personal film, ‘It’s Never Too Late’, encourages open conversations that can truly make a difference and to get men talking.
Director’s Synopsis
The purpose of this film? To get men talking. This short film aims to break the silence surrounding the raw, often hidden struggles that many men endure. By shedding light on these challenges, I wanted to create a space where vulnerability is not just accepted but embraced. It encourages men to engage in open, honest conversations that can foster connection, understanding, and healing.
Through storytelling, my goal was to emphasise that speaking out isn’t a sign of weakness but an act of courage. The film serves as a reminder that no one has to face their battles alone – whether it’s reaching out to a loved one, a friend, or a charity, talking can be the first step toward finding support and hope. Ultimately, this film seeks to break the stigma around men’s mental health and inspire a culture of empathy and openness that can save lives.
