Ashley Markle was commissioned by Cero Magazine to photograph rising star Gaten Matarazzo, capturing the actor in a series of images that display her ability to curate uncannily cinematic atmospheres with distinctive sensitivity. Drawing on cinematic staging, the images are both simultaneously dreamlike and personal, and display Ashley’s characteristic to skilfully blend both.
