Jake Walters is a photographer and director, working across advertising, fashion and editorial projects. He creates thoughtfully constructed portraits that can be read as snapshots from an unfolding narrative, a slice from a compelling story. Jake is known for his supreme lighting and technical skills, able to create flawlessly constructed imagery. His work is also imbued with a playful sense of humour that comes through in his work. Jake is well versed in projects combining stills and motion, working with a tight crew to create projects rich with assets.
Jake has also had work exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery and has work in the archive.

Jake Walters was recently commissioned to shoot artist Maggi Hambling for Vanity Fair. Though principally a painter, Hambling is perhaps best known for her public sculptures. Jake shoots her at her studio in London.

Jake Walters continues his work for Harrods Magazine, shooting a SS20 menswear editorial with stylist Tom Stubbs. Shot at the verdant Clapton Tram Studio, Jake took importations from the lush tropical vegetation in his latest project.
