Marcus Marritt is a Glasgow-based illustrator focusing on a minimal approach to both form and colour. Originally working on the client side in creative services, Marcus’ love of illustration saw him make the move to creating work full time. Marcus often uses a restrained colour palette, focusing on light and shadow to create a body of cohesive and unique work.
Recent clients include ASOS, Weetabix, Barclays, Chelsea FC, BT Sport, Deliveroo, Oreo, Blackberry, British GQ, Wired and The Wall Street Journal.
Marcus Marritt was recently commissioned by weekly German newspaper Die Zeit to illustrate their cover story. The story focuses on the relationship between business and medicine, in particular the pharmaceutical industry.
