Jake Walters is a photographer and director, working across advertising, fashion and editorial projects. He creates thoughtfully constructed portraits that can be read as snapshots from an unfolding narrative, a slice from a compelling story. Jake is known for his supreme lighting and technical skills, able to create flawlessly constructed imagery. His work is also imbued with a playful sense of humour that comes through in his work. Jake is well versed in projects combining stills and motion, working with a tight crew to create projects rich with assets.
Jake has also had work exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery and has work in the archive.
Recent clients include Lexus, Taj Hotels, John Lewis, Star Alliance, H&M, Virgin, The Rake, British GQ, ES Magazine, AnOther, The Guardian Weekend, The Sunday Times Magazine, The Observer and The Wire.
Jake Walters was recently commissioned by Atomic to create a short film for United Airlines in collaboration with Star Alliance. Jake traveled to Sao Paulo, Brazil to film street artist Eduardo Kobra (better known as simply Kobra) and his colourful work across the city.
